Confidence is BUILT! 🧱

Confidence isn’t something we’re born with—it’s something we build. Brick by brick. Note by note. Step by step.

It grows quietly in the background, through the simple, consistent actions you take:
✨ One practice session at a time.
✨ One lesson at a time.
✨ One performance at a time.

Here’s the truth: action precedes motivation. We often wait to “feel ready,” but confidence comes from doing. And the beautiful part? You may not notice your own growth right away—but others definitely will.

This week’s challenge:

Record one of your practice sessions (even if it’s just a single song) or capture a moment from your lesson. Yes, it might feel awkward at first—but do it anyway! This small step outside your comfort zone is where confidence begins to grow.

When you’re done, take a few minutes to write a reflection:

  • How did it feel to record yourself?

  • What did you love about your singing?

  • What are you excited to work on this season?

You don’t have to share your video or your reflection with anyone—this is just for you and your artistic journey. I promise, you’ll be so glad to have these snapshots to look back on. They’re treasures that show your growth in ways words can’t capture.

September =  RED

Each month, we’ll embrace a colour to inspire our lessons, rehearsals, and practice time. September’s colour is red—the colour of excitement, courage, passion, energy, and focus. Let this spark fuel your practice as you begin building your routine this season. Think RED this week:)

This Week’s Focus Words: ENERGY & PASSION
September 13–19

Feel the fire in your belly. Let your passion guide your artistry, and let your energy flow into every note.

Remember, confidence is built one step at a time. Trust the process, keep showing up, and watch your artistry shine brighter each week.

Keep singing,
Andrea “seeing red – in the best way” Donais
