Welcome to the Artist Within Summer Camp Programs
We are thrilled to offer four arts-focused camps this summer.
Each week will feature arts-intensive activities based on a theme. Campers can look forward to musical arts, speech arts, dance arts, visual arts, and dramatic arts activities taught by industry professionals. Each camp will also include traditional camp activities such as crafts, team-building games, daily outdoor adventures, splash pad fun (weeks 1, 2, and 4) and swimming (week 3). Two snacks are provided daily and a pizza lunch on Friday.

Getting Into Character
Week 1: July 22-26, 2024
Musical Theatre Camp

Let’s have a little fun and get into character! Which characters will you choose? We have a fun week planned with playful workshops to help you build your performing arts skills. Engage in the dramatic arts, musical arts, dance arts, and speech arts as you “try on” and “act out” new characters. Campers will also explore the visual arts through costume, set, and make-up design. Get ready for a fun and creative week.

Under the Sea
Week 2: July 29-August 2, 2024
Collaborative Arts Camp

The sea is so vibrant and full of life! Campers will take inspiration from the sea as they explore the performing arts in new and creative ways. Daily arts intensive workshops will keep the campers on their toes, having fun, building confidence, and sharing in the beauty of the arts. Collaboration, imagination, and creativity will be the focus of our week “under the sea”.
Get your goggles ready because you never know what you may find hiding under the sea!

Week 3: August 19-23, 2024
Musical Theatre Camp

Get ready to sing, dance, and act your heart out! This dynamic and inspirational camp will be sure to have you singing and dancing your way through the week. Campers will help select songs and scenes to study for this triple threat camp. Build your confidence and performance skills through arts intensive workshops and individual coaching sessions. Collaboration, self-expression, and self-trust will be key highlights throughout the week. Camp will conclude with a recording session on Friday.

Get ready to tour the world through the arts. Campers will “visit” and explore various artistic practices from countries around the world. This energetic and vibrant camp will encourage campers to be curious and adventurous as they build their confidence and skill in the performing arts. This week will nurture curiosity, creativity, and self-expression through singing, drumming, storytelling, movement, and painting.

Meet the Founder & Creator, Andrea Donais
I have had the honour and privilege of working with children, youth, and young artists of all ages throughout my career as an educator, singer, and choral conductor. Helping my students share the artist within has been my greatest joy and life’s passion. When my students ignite the artist within – they discover a creative voice, a confidence and a resilience – they never knew they had.
I love summer camp. Some of my best childhood memories are memories of music camp. I would spend every summer immersed in music and enjoying the company of my friends. Summer camp offers a relaxed and comfortable environment, free of external pressures, to explore new areas of artistic expression and to truly be creative.
