1. Voice + Piano Teacher
Donais Studios is a Collaborative Arts Studio located in the historic district of Newmarket, ON. We are on a mission to inspire a new generation of artists through the transformative power of the arts. Collaboration, community, and artistic excellence are at the core of everything we do.
We are looking for a highly creative, passionate, and dedicated individual to join our artistic team in the role of Voice and Piano Teacher. This is a part-time, contract position. The Role:
The Voice and Piano Teacher creates individualized, creative, and innovative programs to meet the individual needs, goals, and interests of their students. Teaching weekly private lessons, the Teacher nurtures and inspires their students to achieve artistic excellence, instills confidence, and encourages community engagement. The Teacher develops and delivers an unparalleled learning experience for students and their families. You will work closely with the Artistic Director and the entire Artistic Team to develop collaborative, innovative, and community-impact driven programming for all Donais Studios students.
Skills Required:
Bachelor of Music degree, Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT, or equivalent;
RCM Teacher Certification is an asset;
Private lessons teaching experience;
Knowledge of and familiarity with the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate program;
Knowledge of and familiarity with the Piano Safari Method is an asset;
Knowledge of diverse teaching methods, practices, and pedagogy;
A LOVE for teaching music and helping students of all ages and levels of experience find their passion for music and artistic development;
Enjoys striving for musical excellence;
Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop as an artist and teacher;
Highly creative, imaginative, and innovative;
Superior collaboration skills;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Superb listening skills;
Flexible and adaptable;
Must be comfortable teaching in-person and remotely;
Empathetic, positive, and open-minded.

Busy, energetic and fast growing music and collaborative arts studio is looking for a superstar piano teacher. The position is a part-time contract position.

The Role:
You love teaching piano and helping your students meet their individual needs and goals in a way that best serves them. You enjoy helping your students build confidence and resilience through music. You believe in artistic excellence. You are an engaged, energetic and empathetic teacher. You need to be punctual, take initiative and have strong verbal and written communication skills. You are a highly driven individual who takes commitment and professionalism seriously. You are someone who is fulfilled by providing dedicated support to a studio with a huge mission, its team of teaching artists, and the students and families it serves. The piano teacher will work closely with the artistic director and the entire artistic team to support collaborative, innovative, and community-impact driven programming for all Donais Studios members.
